Our Young Carers recently enjoyed a celebration lunch, with music and a Dominoes take away with Mr Robinson in recognition of the incredible role they play each and every day.

At such a young age, they show remarkable compassion, resilience, and maturity in supporting their loved ones at home – whether that be caring for a parent or helping a sibling. The commitment, kindness, and selflessness they demonstrate never go unnoticed.

We are immensely proud of each and every one of them. They are truly inspiring, and it was a privilege to celebrate the amazing difference they make.

🌟 Exploring Our Sensory Room at Oaklands Academy 🌟

Our sensory room provides a calm, safe and engaging environment where children can relax, regulate their emotions, develop sensory processing skills and explore through play. Equipped with interactive lights, bubble tubes, tactile resources, soft play equipment, fibre optics and projection displays, the room offers a range of experiences tailored to meet individual sensory needs.

This fantastic space supports wellbeing, communication, focus and self-regulation, helping our pupils feel comfortable, confident and ready to learn. We are proud to offer such an inclusive environment where every child can access the support they need to thrive.

🌟 Happiness is everywhere in our Nursery at Oaklands Primary Academy! 🌟

Our wonderful nursery pupils have been making the most of our beautiful outdoor learning environment, exploring, creating and learning through play.

From imaginative activities to developing friendships, it has been lovely to see so many smiles, laughter and happy faces across our nursery play area. 😊☀️

These special moments help our children build confidence, curiosity and a love of learning from the very beginning of their school journey.

🌟 Mr Robinson would like to say a huge thank you to everyone for their support during SATs week 🌟

Thank you to our parents and carers for ensuring children attended school prepared and ready to do their best, and for all the extra encouragement and support given at home.

A special thank you also goes to our dedicated staff, who have gone above and beyond to support and prepare the children every step of the way.

Most importantly, we are incredibly proud of our amazing pupils for their hard work, resilience and positive attitudes throughout the week — you have all been fantastic! 👏✨

🌟 Today marks the final day of SATs for our amazing Year 6 pupils! 🌟

The children had great fun taking part in “Where’s Mr Robinson?” while celebrating the end of a week filled with hard work, resilience and determination.

We are incredibly proud of every single one of our Year 6 pupils for the positive attitude and effort they have shown throughout SATs week, now it’s time to celebrate! 👏✨
