We’re incredibly proud to have funded a brand-new set of rugby jerseys for the Charles Darwin School Year 9/10 Boys Rugby Team.

A huge thank you to Mr Huggins, who shared these kind words:

“I would like to express my gratitude to the Charles Darwin PTA for funding the purchase of new jerseys for our Year 9/10 Boys rugby team. I hope this will bring a sense of pride to the students when they pull on the school colours during extra-curricular fixtures. Thank you for your support!”

The funds donated have directly benefited the students who use the Finch Room, helping to provide valuable software and resources to support their learning, wellbeing, and individual needs.

Celebrating Our D&D Club!
You may remember that we sponsored the start-up of our Dungeons and Dragons Club earlier in this school year.
The club has become a very popular activity. Students come together for epic adventures, creative storytelling, and unforgettable friendships.

🎨 Art Competition: Design Your Own Extruded Vase! 🎨

Calling all creative minds students! The Art Department is excited to announce an Art Competition — a chance for students to design their very own extruded vase and bring their imagination to life.

Students are invited to create an original vase design and submit their entries to the Art Department. Three winners will be selected by the PTA, and each winner will have the amazing opportunity to create their final piece using the school’s new clay extruder, donated by Charles Darwin PTA — completely free of charge.

✨ How to enter:
🖌️ Draw your vase design on A4 paper
📝 Make sure to include your name and form
📅 Hand your design to the Art Department by Tuesday 16th June

This is a fantastic opportunity to explore creativity, experiment with design, and turn your artistic ideas into a real clay creation.
