for a couple of families to meet the sheep dogs and watch a little sheep dog demo in Auchengray!

If you are struggling with your young people, please come, foster care/adoptive families most welcome too. We understand it's not always easy and that's what Farmigos is about, so don't be shy!

Spoiler alert** We also have 5 little puppies to cuddle ❤️

Ps: 8y old+ only (for insurance purposes sorry little ones!)
And better skip this one if anyone in your group is allergic to dog hair 😬 As there will be a lot of it 🐾🐾 Please keep this in mind when picking your clothes and shoes 🤓

🎉 We raised £750 🎉 thanks to the fabulous teams of competitors who trained at SheShepherds - Lhìnnek Sheep Dogs we managed to raise some money to go towards our insurance 🍀
Insurance to cover farming activities, equine facilitated learning and young people is rather costly, but we are glad to offer our support to young people who need it ❤️

🐑 DOG TRIAL PRACTICE AT PARKHOUSE, QUOTHQUAN 🐕

We’re delighted to offer our training facilities at Parkhouse, Quothquan for private bookings.

📍 Location: Parkhouse, Quothquan (1H15 from The World Trial)

🌍 Ideal for World Trial teams looking for an opportunity to train together, practise runs and prepare their dogs in a trial setting.

Come along with your team or a group of friends and enjoy the opportunity to run your dogs on a trial course in a relaxed training environment.

Sheep will be placed for you, giving everyone the chance to run their dog, practise their runs and build experience.

🐑 Sheep available:
Cheviot or Cheviot Mule gimmers

⏰ Half-day session – 4 hours
💷 £250 per half day

☕ Teas, coffees and snacks included

And best of all, all profits will go to Farmigos CIC, helping us provide opportunities for vulnerable young people to spend time on the farm, working with, caring for and learning through farm animals and pets. ❤️

So while you’re enjoying valuable training time with your dogs, you’ll also be helping us create meaningful opportunities for young people. 🐕🐑

🐑 **Our 2026 Lambing Experience – Thank You!** 🐑

We'd like to take a moment to reflect on what has been a truly special few months here on the farm.

This year, we welcomed **35 young people and 21 adults** to our Lambing Experience. It has been a privilege to share this special time of year with so many families, giving them the opportunity to meet our newborn lambs, learn about sheep farming, and experience life on a working farm.

One of our main aims has always been to make the experience as accessible as possible. We know that family activities can be expensive, so we were delighted to offer **a quarter of the children's places free of charge**, helping to ensure that finances weren't a barrier to making memories together.

We're also incredibly grateful for the support of the **Holiday Playschemes & Activities for Disabled Children** fund, which enabled us to provide **four half-day sessions** for families. It was wonderful to see children and their families enjoying time outdoors, building confidence, learning about animal care, and creating lasting memories together in a relaxed and welcoming environment.

This year's programme would not have been possible without the generous support of the **Screwfix Foundation**. Their funding allowed us to repair and improve one of our outbuildings, creating a safe, warm and welcoming space where we could host our Lambing Experience during the winter months. These improvements have made a lasting difference and will benefit many more visitors in the years to come.

The feedback we've received has been overwhelming. Hearing how much families enjoyed meeting the lambs, feeding the sheep, asking questions, and experiencing farm life has reminded us why we are so passionate about opening our gates to the community. Watching children light up as they held a lamb for the first time or learned something new about farming has been incredibly rewarding.

A huge thank you to everyone who visited us this year, shared kind words, recommended us to others, and supported what we do. We'd also like to extend our sincere thanks to the **Holiday Playschemes & Activities for Disabled Children** fund and the **Screwfix Foundation**. Your support has helped us make our farm more inclusive, accessible and welcoming for local families.

We are already looking forward to Lambing Experience 2027 and can't wait to welcome both returning and new visitors back to the farm for another unforgettable season.

🌿🐑 New at Farmigos CIC – Build-A-Barn Buddy! 🐶🐴

We are delighted to introduce our brand-new experience… **Build-A-Barn Buddy** 💛

Create your very own cuddly farm friend—choose from a **cute lamb, an adorable corgi, or a sweet pony** 🧸✨

Each session is led by our wonderful Laura Johnston , an experienced residential children’s worker and mental health support nurse, creating a calm, supportive, and welcoming space for all.

Laura will be joined by her loyal labrador **Saddie**, offering gentle **dog therapy cuddles** throughout 🐾💛

During your **1-hour session**, you can enjoy:
🐑 Making your very own barn buddy
🐾 Cosy, calming time with Saddie
🌿 A peaceful walk in the field
🐴 Meeting the ponies
🍼 Bottle-feeding lambs (when available)
You decide how you spend your hour ❤️
