💙 That's a wrap, Year 6. 🎓

Today we said goodbye to an incredible group of children who have filled our school with laughter, kindness, determination and unforgettable memories. Watching shirts fill with signatures, sharing one last laugh with friends, and making those final memories together has reminded us just how special this year group is.

A huge thank you to all of the parent volunteers and school governors who gave up their time to support our Year 4 sailing trips this week.

School trips like these simply wouldn't be possible without people who are willing to give their time so generously.

We'd also like to thank our fantastic Year 4 teaching team for organising the visits, supporting the children throughout the week and helping make the experience such a success.

From all of us at East-the-Water Primary School thank you for helping create memories that our Year 4 children will treasure for years to come. 💙⛵️

We'd like to say a massive thank you to North Devon Yacht Club for giving our Year 4 children such an incredible sailing experience this week from Appledore Quay.

For many of our children, this was their very first time out on the water and what an unforgettable adventure it was! They had the opportunity to learn new skills, build confidence, work as a team, and experience the beauty of our local estuary from a completely different perspective.

Experiences like these create memories that last a lifetime, and we're incredibly lucky to have such fantastic opportunities right on our doorstep.

Some of our children had a brilliant trip to RHS Garden Rosemoor, where they got stuck into planting, exploring and discovering all things green and growing.

A huge thank you to everyone at RHS Garden Rosemoor for making the visit so special. The children loved every minute and who knows, we may have inspired the next generation of gardeners! 🌿🌼

This fantastic handmade bean bag toss was very kindly gifted to East-the-Water Primary School by an incredibly talented grandparent, and what a brilliant addition!

It kept children (and plenty of grown-ups!) entertained throughout the afternoon and even helped raise over £100 for the PTA during the Summer Fayre. 🎉

A huge thank you for your generosity, time and craftsmanship. It's wonderful knowing this game will be enjoyed by our children for many years to come. 💙
