Collaboration is one of the greatest strengths of Children First Learning Partnership. We’re incredibly fortunate to work alongside leaders who bring such talent, vision and commitment to improving outcomes for children and families.

Our recent development day at Rudyard Lake brought together colleagues from across our schools for a day of shared thinking, inspiring presentations from our CEO, networking and collaboration.

It was a productive opportunity to reflect, share ideas and plan priorities and outcomes for our schools across CFLP for 2026–27.

A great day of collaboration, learning and shared ambition.

We're delighted to share that Kingsfield First School and Marlfields Primary School have each secured £674,000 through the Department for Education's Condition Improvement Fund (CIF), bringing a total investment of more than £1.3 million into our schools.

This funding will deliver modern, energy-efficient heating systems, helping to improve our learning environments while reducing carbon emissions and supporting our journey towards net zero!

Alongside these major investment projects, we're also continuing to enhance our school environments with office and staff room refurbishments at Reginald Mitchell and painting and decorating works at Kingsfield, creating even better spaces for our pupils and colleagues.

A huge thank you to everyone involved in securing this investment. Together, we're creating sustainable schools for the future.

That's a wrap for another fantastic school year!

Now that the summer holidays are underway, we'd like to say a huge thank you to all of our children, families and staff for your continued support throughout the year.

Together, we've celebrated achievements, embraced new challenges and created so many wonderful memories. Your encouragement, partnership and commitment help make our community such a special place where every child can thrive.

We hope you all have a safe, happy and restful summer filled with fun, laughter and special moments with family and friends.
