Today, our children at our nursery in Bexleyheath enjoyed practising their balance by carefully walking along beams.

This simple activity helps develop coordination, balance, concentration and gross motor skills, while also encouraging children to build confidence and challenge themselves.

Every step is a little achievement and we loved seeing their determination, focus and big smiles along the way!

Today, our children at our nursery in Bexleyheath enjoyed drawing plants and exploring the wonderful world of nature through art. We placed a real plant on the table for the children to observe closely, helping them notice the different shapes, colours, leaves and details before creating their own drawings.

It was wonderful to see their creativity blossom as they used their observations and imaginations to create their artwork.

🦷 Today our children at our nursery in Bexleyheath had a brilliant time exploring all about teeth and what dentists do!
They loved taking turns being the dentist, checking each other’s smiles, and chatting about why brushing our teeth is so important.
It was wonderful watching their imaginations come to life as they played, explored and learned together.
Looking after those lovely smiles is such an important skill – and they made it so much fun! 😁✨

This morning in the baby room at our nursery in Bexleyheath, our children enjoyed a whole-room setup inspired by our much-loved That’s Not My… books, which the babies have been showing so much interest in!

That’s Not My Car – Small World Area
The babies enjoyed getting our cars sparkling clean in their very own car wash! They explored water, sponges, scoops, spades, spoons, sensory mats and even musical instruments. The babies used their hands to explore different textures and materials while developing their coordination and curiosity.

That’s Not My Bunny – Role Play Area
It was time for a very special bunny tea party! The babies explored different pretend foods, discovering their favourites while developing their imaginative and pretend-play skills. They loved feeding the bunny and even each other!

That’s Not My Owl – Sensory Area
The babies were fascinated by the beautiful owl pictures, exploring their colours, eyes, shapes and beaks! We also introduced natural materials such as sand, twigs, sticks and mini trees, giving the babies lots of opportunities to investigate and explore using their senses.

It was a wonderful morning full of sensory exploration, curiosity, communication, imagination and lots of smiles!

What an adventure our children have had at our nursery in Bexleyheath! Our children brought the much-loved story The Tiger Who Came to Tea to life, acting out the story with fantastic enthusiasm, imagination and teamwork.

From welcoming the tiger to sharing the tea and discovering that he’s eaten everything in sight, the children had so much fun stepping into character! Their confidence and creativity really shone through.

Today, our children at our nursery in Bexleyheath had lots of fun exploring and creating sand animals! From elephants and lions to turtles and other wonderful creatures, their sandy creations sparked curiosity, creativity, and plenty of imaginative play.

It was lovely to see the children working together, sharing ideas, and discovering how something as simple as sand can become a whole animal world!
