Ive spent alot of time at Eltham Palace, as a member of EH but it was a privilege to take a number of my art students there too.
I did lots of sketches myself. My paintings are from sketches I made whilst there.
Love Eltham Palace, so peaceful, super volunteers and a wonderful place to be.
Thankyou for having us.
Im looking forward to coming back and sketching more. Next time flowers.
These paintings are painted on .cuthberts.mill watercolour paper using watercolour paints and my favourite series 7 watercolour brushes.

In our Drawing & Watercolour classes we went to Eltham Palace to do some sketching. My students have been very busy.
I did a few demonstrations on how to draw some key areas there, the most challenging being the palace itself.
They did it! See it's not that bad afterall.

On Saturday 20th we had our Grand Opening, with lots of my fabulous students, family and friends all in attendance.
What an amazing day.
To see all the work together from over seven classes is the best feeling.
My aim is to encourage, to inspire, to share my knowledge and see my students grow in both confidence and technique.

I bought my watercolour, botanic and drawing classes to .
We have been sketching and back in class we will use our sketches to compose paintings and drawings! Very exciting!
In the meantime here are some of the sketches I completed at Eltham Palace.
Such a wonderful destination and Im so happy and my students are too that we have been able to come here to draw.
So much to see.
What sketches will be worked up to paintings and drawings?
All will be revealed over the coming weeks.

Oil pastels are beautiful to use, Ive experimented with many different makes and in the end I bought this
About 10 years ago.
They are the best, they take oil pastels to another level.
