Celebrating Our AllergyWise School Award ๐ŸŽ‰

YEY! We received our award! ๐ŸŒŸ

I'm thrilled to share the exciting news that Joydens Wood Infant School has been honoured with the Anaphylaxis UK AllergyWise School 2023 award! ๐Ÿ† This achievement is a testament to our dedication to ensuring the safety and well-being of all children, especially those with allergies.

I would also like to give a special thanks to Mrs Quinn, our wonderful Catering Manager, who not only ensures that the children have safe and delicious meals but also goes above and beyond by teaching our cookery lessons each week. Mrs Quinn, your dedication is an inspiration to us all!

Once again, thank you for your hard work and dedication. Let's continue to make Joydens Wood Infant School a place where every child feels safe and supported.

Warmest regards,
Mr Strong

๐Ÿšธ Important Message for Our School Community ๐Ÿšธ

Dear Parents, we hope this message finds you well. As we begin a new school year, we would like to kindly remind everyone to be considerate when parking during morning drop-offs and afternoon pickups.

Our neighbourhood is an integral part of our school community, and we value our relationship with our neighbours. To ensure that our school operates smoothly and that our neighbours' daily routines are not disrupted, we kindly request that you:

๐Ÿš— Park responsibly
๐Ÿ›‘ Avoid blocking driveways and pavements
๐ŸŒณ Refrain from parking on private property or green areas

Being considerate in our parking not only reflects positively on our school but also sets an excellent example for our children. It promotes a harmonious and respectful environment for all.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in this matter. Let's work together to make our school drop-offs and pickups safe and pleasant for everyone, including our wonderful neighbours.

Thank you for your continued support.

Warm regards,
Mr Strong

A huge thank you to Sky for their hard work and donating their staff's time over the summer to help our school.

Thanks also to Stanhill Farm and Metro Mechanical who donated these fabulous poly tunnels, enabling Mrs Quinn and her young helpers to grow our own produce all year round.

We are really pleased to say that we will be open as normal tomorrow.

We have been able to clear a pathway around the schools and up to all of the usual entrances. The back playground on the Junior site will remain closed off. We will have a normal drop off and pick up tomorrow at classroom doors.

Please be very careful on the surrounding roads, especially Wood Close, Park Way and The Chenies, as these are still very icy.

Mr Strong, Miss Hately & Mr Redford

Due to the snow we will be closed today. Parents/carers please check your Class Dojo for a message from Miss Hately.
