Playdough fun! 💜

Rolling, squishing, cutting and creating shapes – playdough is packed with opportunities to develop your little learner’s fine motor skills while having lots of fun.

No matter which Little Learners location you attend, playdough is always a favourite! It’s a fun, versatile activity that’s perfect for children who aren’t quite ready to explore the wet messy trays yet, while also providing a familiar transition from activities they may already enjoy at home. It’s a great way to build confidence before trying something new!

X marks the spot in this pirate-themed tray! 🏴‍☠️

The Little Learners loved exploring as they searched for and hid treasure, scooped and poured sand and, of course, made lots of marks along the way! A wonderful sensory experience that encouraged imagination, fine motor skills, and early mark-making. ✨

Summer 2 term is halfway through! Here’s what’s left☀️

I would love to have you join me and the mark makers for the rest of the term of mark making and messy play sessions! Each session is filled with themed wet and dry messy play trays, playdough, painting and more! 🫟

The sessions will be 10:15-11:00 in Bexleyheath every Monday. The remaining themes are:

Did someone call for a doctor? 🧑‍⚕️🚑

This Little Learners is ready to help, armed with a stethoscope, a caring heart and plenty of imagination! 👶🩺

Whether it’s a teddy bear check-up or making friends feel better, role play is a wonderful way to build confidence, communication skills and empathy. 💜

Crunch, crunch! 🥣✨

This Little Learner used his hand muscles to crunch up the Weetabix and turn it into “Weetabix sand”! As he squeezed, crumbled and explored the different textures, he was strengthening the small muscles in his hands and fingers, helping to develop the fine motor skills needed for everyday tasks such as writing, drawing, and using cutlery.

A fantastic sensory experience that encouraged curiosity, exploration and lots of crunchy fun! 💜
