We are thrilled to announce the success of our recent non-uniform day fundraiser, which was organised to raise money to purchase new books for our library. We raised a whopping total of £418.76 and we also have a growing pile of books from our wish list. Thank you very much for your generous contributions! We are looking forward to adding the donations to our catalogue and asking the children which new titles they would like us to purchase with the money raised. Watch this space for a date for the grand opening of the new library!

We arrived at school this morning to find that those little elves have been up to no good overnight! In Blackman Class, they've created a full-blown snowstorm! Over in Lovelace Class, they've wasted all the blue roll. And to top it all off, they've managed to get themselves stuck in Rashford Class! Luckily, the children in Blackman Class helped to clear up the mess. Miss Woodyatt-Butwell managed to salvage the wasted blue roll (Eco Champions were relieved). And the Year 4 staff managed to get their troublemaker out of the blue roll holder. While we love their festive spirit, we could do without the mess! Let's hope they behave themselves from now on!

Your tree will have a second life, providing natural materials for the children to explore and learn from. Our Eco Champions will also be pleased that you have to recycled your tree! Our hardworking Year 5 children have been mastering modal verbs this morning, writing sentences linked to their text The Girl of Ink and Stars by Kiran Millwood Hargrave which the children highly recommend. The story is about the adventure of a young girl named Isabella, the daughter of a cartographer, who lives on the island of Joya. When Isabella's best friend, Lupe, goes missing in the island's mysterious and dangerous Forgotten Territories, Isabella volunteers to guide the search party. Equipped with her father's maps and her knowledge of the stars, she embarks on a perilous journey. Along the way, she encounters mythical creatures and uncovers ancient secrets, all while a legendary fire demon begins to stir beneath the island. A recommended read!

The Brampton elves have been up to their antics again! Today, they've been spotted in the Breakfast Club, sneaking around The Hive, and making mischief in Browne Class and Simmonds Class. They were even caught hanging around the KS2 corridor! Keep your eyes peeled and let us know if you spot them anywhere else!
