Yesterday we hosted our first ever EPQ Summit
After a year of research, deadlines, coffee-fuelled work sessions and serious dedication, our students presented their Extended Project Qualifications to invited guests — and absolutely smashed it 👏
So proud of all the hard work, confidence and creativity on show. The future’s looking bright
All those months of mocks, flashcards, and late-night library sessions have led to this. This is where the hard work pays off. Dig deep, find that second wind, and give it everything you’ve got for these last few weeks.

There were a few aching limbs today but lots of proud students after 16 of our Year 12 students successfully completed their Gold DofE Practice expedition in the Yorkshire Dales this weekend. The sun shone throughout the three day expedition and the students all managed to tackle both Ingleborough and Pen-y-ghent whilst perfecting their map-reading skills and showing great teamwork and resilience. Well done to them all and thank you to the staff and volunteers who supported the expedition.

What a fantastic evening last night at our early entry event - the hall was packed on with students from Year 10, 11 and 12 as well as their parents and carers who all gathered to hear more about applying to Oxford and Cambridge as well as other courses such as Dentistry, Medicine and Veterinary Medicine which require early entry in Year 13. 10 former students as well as 3 current Year 13 students fielded a range of questions and shared their experience of studying at Oxford, Cambridge and many other institutions across the country.
