What a difference a week makes! 🤔
Last Monday, it was so warm it felt like we were being barbecued alive🥵. Fast forward a week and it’s 15° cooler with heavy skies. Agh that’s right it’s the start of meteorological summer today!! 🤣
After a brief hiatus for a bank holiday we were back in”full swing” today. Another great turn out with plenty of gossip to catch up on. It was great to be back at it again. Well done everyone, have a great week and see you all next time.

A glorious evening for a trip across the Westwood, even if it was a bit chilly and draughty to start with. Plenty of banter and a bit of speed work by some made for a really pleasant evening.

A new route for the group tonight. We continued along another portion of the rail trail, finding more trees, foliage and a fair amount of muddy puddles due to the recent rain.

For May’s away walk we ventured to the beach at Skipsea. The rain clouds threatened us but fortunately they waited…..

Well what happened to the weather? After we had fished out our coats, hats and gloves we had a cold and blustery chatty walk through the buttercups across the Westwood.
