We are all different, including the way we think! It is not a disability and has its own strengths. We all need to discover how we think and what works for us. We all need strategies and advice!!

Dyslexia means our brains are just wired differently to what society considers ‘normal’.
And, whilst we may think ‘differently’, dyslexia does NOT affect intelligence.
Not broken, not better, and definitely no lesser, just different.

Says it all....

Being a teenager is all about ‘fitting in’.
Anything that makes us seem different to our peers is to be avoided at all costs, which is why it is crucial that every young person that struggles with reading, is identified early and given the support and interventions needed at an early age so they can progress academically at the same level with their peers.
Evidence based, structured literacy aligned to the science of reading assists every child in learning to read
Because every young person just wants to fit in!
