Hi I'm Louise,

I have worked as a Primary school teacher for over 11 years across schools in Hertfordshire. I have had experience with children across the age range of 3 -11 years and believe that teaching needs to be inspiring and active in order to excite children about their learning. I also have 5 years of experience tutoring children across different ages phases. From young children needing that extra support, through to 11 plus and foundation GCSE Mathematics.

During my time in teaching, it has been apparent to me that all too often some children lose their confidence in their ability as a learner. Either the learning has moved away from using practical resources when the child is not ready, or the pace of learning is not suited to the child. Schools do amazing jobs at catering for all students but sometimes it is just nice to get that extra support or challenge.
