🚨 Attention parents and carers 🚨

You only have until Saturday 31 August to apply for your child's early education funding, that is part of the childcare support expansion.

From this September, 15 hours childcare will be expanded to eligible working parents with children aged nine months up to three years old.

Free car seat safety session in Scunthorpe this week!
Experts from the Good Egg car safety team are coming to Morrisons in Scunthorpe on Thursday 16 May, between 10am and 3pm.

Parents can get their child's car seat checked for free and professionals will be on hand to provide a range of advice and information and ensure your baby/child is sitting safely.

Being a working parent is one of the hardest jobs around, but we want to help make it that little bit easier.

Our expansion of childcare support is now underway, with eligible working parents of 2-year-olds across England getting help with the cost of childcare.

This means there is now support available for eligible families with children aged from 2-4 years old.

From September 2024, this will expand further to include eligible working families with a child between 9 and 23 months old.

This has been made possible by increasing the number of staff and places, including a consultation to boost the recruitment and retention of childminders, a major national recruitment campaign and an over £400 million additional investment to uplift funding rates in 2024-25.

We are kindly requesting donations for our upcoming Christmas Hamper raffle, that will be held in December.

Donations of selection boxes, tubs/tins of chocolates, wine, biscuits and other items suitable to make up hampers would be very much appreciated.

The children have really enjoyed learning about the life cycle of a caterpillar. Today they were all eager (and very excited!) to help release them back into the wild 🦋
