I am planning for post GCSE 2026 exams and have some capacity for the 2026/7 academic year for the tutoring of maths.

I always work face to face, in and around Belper, as I find this helps with making better progress.
Independent work is always set between each session to help retain knowledge enabling the student to continue to move forward.
Initially I will visit the student and family to have a chat, understand the student's need and make sure everyone is happy. I would then go away and send a written plan before any firm commitment is agreed.

Three different levels available to make sure the class is focused and relevant to each student.

Two new great people have joined the Belper Education team!

Kim is a specialist at GCSE and A-Level English Language and Literature with 20+ years experience. She has worked in multiple sectors giving her the wealth of knowledge of how to communicate to students to make the best possible progress.

Claire is a practising maths teacher specialising at GCSE level as well as functional skills. Claire is also setting up a farm to combine her joys of maths and animal care to help students of all abilities in an alternative setting.

Two new wonderful people added to the Belper Education team!

Kate is working to improve reading using bespoke one-to-one intervention programme delivered from a Reading Room in a Reading Doctors home or in schools for children with a reading age of 12.0 years or below.

Amy is practising secondary maths teacher in a local Derbyshire school helping students in years 7-11 improve their chances of attaining the best grades possible.
