Presentation Day 🌟

We raised a huge £4600 this year on 'Charity Day' for this year's chosen charities.

On presentation day Mrs Keown handed over cheques to Barney O'Loughlin who represented 'Mellon Educate' and Leo Slevin and Philip Cleary who represented 'Belleek Men Shed'.

Thank you to everyone who contributed to 'Charity Day' in any way, without the generosity and support of the entire school community this would not be possible.

Summer is here!🌞

We have a wonderful few weeks in school with school trips, outings to the park, the ice cream van arriving to school, sports day and the end of year school disco.

A special thank you to everyone at for their kind donation of treats for the children on sports day and thank you to our PTA for organising our end of term disco.

Celebration for John!🚍

We also celebrated a very special 'leaver' today, our school bus driver John Duffy. The P7s were delighted to share their day with John as he has been so kind, dedicated and committed to the children in St. Davog's for many years. Everyone in St. Davog's would like to wish John and his wife Eileen health and happiness in their retirement. You will be sorely missed!

School Leavers 2026⭐️

Today we celebrated our wonderful class of P7s at their leavers' assembly. The children performed for their friend and family and they were all outstanding.

A special well done to Rory who was awarded 'Personality of the Year', Clodagh who was awarded 'Most Improved' and Aoife who was recognised for her 'Outstanding Contribution to Life in St. Davog's'.

Well done everyone, we are so proud of you all!

Celebration for Canon McGourty!

Today we celebrated a very special member of our school community- Canon McGourty. The children took part in a special mass to mark the Diamond Jubilee of Canon McGourty, celebrating 60 years of his ordination to the Priesthood. He joined us for cake afterwards in school.

Canon McGourty is always a welcome visitor in St. Davog's and shows such kindness to the children. We would all like to wish him congratulations on such a special occasion.

School Trip Fun!🌞

P4, 5, 6 and 7 enjoyed their school trip to Waterworld last Wednesday. A great day was had by all. A special thank you to the staff in T.J Hughes who treated the children to ice-creams on the way home.
