It's with sadness we have learned of the passing of one of our clubs founder members Billy McFadden.

The officers and members would like to pass on our sympathy and prayers to his partner Carol, his son Stuarty (also a past member) and the wider family circle.

What.A.Day☀️⚽

Yesterday we held our first Family Fun Day at Midgley Park and it turned out to be a roaring success.

It was great to see the wider Raven and Linfield Football Club (Official) family come together for some downtime in the off season. From Georgia at 5 months to our elder statesman at 77, everyone hopefully had a blast.

We would like to say a big thank you in particular to Michael Foster at Linfield for offering the use of Midgley Park..What a great facility that we are lucky to have..Also to Paul White, who supported on the day.

We would also like to pass on our appreciation to Funky Fun and Burger Queen NI for supplying the inflatables and grub.

Whilst we didn't charge any of our members or guests, what we did ask was a bucket donation to our chosen charity for 2026/27 Autism NI which was very well supported. We will be doing more charity events for them throughout the season.

Roll on the 4th July and the start of the new season. 🔵⚪🔴

🏆

Last Saturday was our AGM and as every year we voted for our POTY and YPOTY.

This season Chris Johns won (by quite some distance) The Martin McGaughey Player of the Year trophy whilst Ethan McGee (in his last eligible season) won our Young Player of the Year award.

Many congratulations to both, well deserved.

We will aim to present Chris and Ethan with their gifts at the opening home league game.

I'm sure everyone is aware of the tragic passing of young Mason Keilhauer last weekend. This loss transcends football and will have a lasting impact both sides off the Queens Bridge

With the blessing of his family and friends we would ask all supporters of both Linfield Football Club (Official) & Glentoran to come together on Sunday NI Football League Cup Final and honour his memory with a minutes applause on the 11th minute.

As a member of this 20 plus group of Linfield Supporters Clubs we fully endorse the statement below.

Amalgamation of Linfield Supporters Clubs Statement

As per post communicated by our member clubs on 17th January relating to the fan boycott of the upcoming Irish Cup fixture, we would like to reiterate the below:

Despite a greatly reduced fan presence in the stadium, we also strongly encourage this fixture is not streamed. Fan dissatisfaction lies at the BBC’s door and we do not intend for this boycott to boost their viewing figures.

Again, we would also like to reiterate that this action has not been taken in any way to harm Limavady but instead to take a stand and ensure that no one team has fixtures consistently changed more than any other for TV purposes.

Finally, we call on our governing bodies, NIFL & IFA, member clubs and the BBC to resolve this ongoing issue and to maintain the best interest for all parties regarding match days and ensuring the next generation are sat in the stands and not watching on TV.
