2 of my favourite food buddies a week apart.

The Prodigy 30 years on

Yes I am that geek. Keep all my tickets still, it’s amazing looking through them, it takes you right back in a different way than a photo.

30 years ago we were all jumping about in the most unglamorous leisure centre you’ve ever seen to The Prodigy and I remember it being totally mad and brilliant.

Monday was equally brilliant but on such a slick and huge scale it was hard to tie the two together in my brain. People were dancing for their lives, hugging each other and had brought their kids to dance their faces off as well, which they did.

Sound and lights were fantastic, the timing was incredible and just hit those high points to a tee.

Seems unlikely there’ll be another gig in 30 years but never say never and I’ll be there dancing for my life if there is.

The end video is the arena emptied out and part stripped already less than 5 mins after the gig was down. Never ceases to amaze and impress when minutes before there were about 9000 people in that space. Very cool.

Shout out to our army of cat sitters who looked after the girls while we were on holiday.

We always feel guilty going and they of course are totally fine but getting little photo’s and videos while we are away is always a nice boost.
