🇪🇺 Erasmus+ adventure in Latvia – more than just an exchange! 🇱🇻
Over the course of five months, six students from PIVA Antwerpen Belgium, Ipsar Luigi Carnacina - Istituzionale Italy, and VIK Középiskola - Hivatalos Oldala Hungary explored Latvian culture with Rīgas Tūrisma un radošās industrijas tehnikumsand found a second home in this country.
The Erasmus+ PRO mobility experience gave them the opportunity to discover Latvian traditions, cuisine, and daily life, as well as form friendships with people from different backgrounds.
🌎 Discovering a new country – At first, everything felt unfamiliar: the people, the language, the environment. But over time, they realized that Latvia was not just a place to learn new things but also a place where they felt at home. In small moments like cooking together, laughing over their first Latvian words, or simply enjoying the peaceful silence by the sea, they found a sense of belonging.
📚 Beyond learning – Their experience went far beyond studies and skill development. They took part in various activities, traveling to Riga, Jūrmala, Sigulda, Ogre, Bauska, Cēsis, and Valmiera. They formed friendships with local students and even went on trips together to Lithuania🇱🇹 and Estonia🇪🇪.
🗣️ Discovering the magic of language – At first, the Latvian language seemed like a mystery, but with time, they learned their first words, understood daily phrases, and even attempted conversations. Every day, they could be heard saying "Labdien," "Uzredzēšanos," and "Visu labu" with growing confidence.🇱🇻
Now, as they return home, they take with them new perspectives, unforgettable memories, and friendships that will last long after their Erasmus+ journey ends.🌟
Thank you to everyone who was part of this experience! Who’s ready for their own Erasmus+ story? 🚀
