The Northern Ireland YMP was set up to encourage young engineers, from foundation year right through to final year, to become active as part of the IMechE. The young member's panel are hosting lots of events through the academic year for young engineers to socialize, learn and communicate with people in industry. Over 130 teams on the grid for Formula Student 2019 The Formula Student, a student engineering competition organised by the Institution of Mechanical Engineers, will see more than 3000 participants from over 25 countries take part in the event which returns to Silverstone this July.
