**The Irish Assoication of Dermatologists Scholarship award**

Interested in 2 free nights accommodation at the Farnham Estate and Spa? Then keep reading...........................

The Irish Association of Dermatologists are offering 2 scholarships , one North and one South of Ireland to support a medical student with an interest in Dermatology to attend their Autumn meeting in Farnham Estate, Co Cavan on Thursday 12th & Friday 13th October 2017. The scholarship recipients would receive complimentary registration, invitation to the IAD conference dinner and two nights accommodation in the hotel. Recipients would be encouraged to bring along a poster presentation.

Hi everyone!

We hope you all had a lovely Easter!

DermSoc are holding a Dermatology revision night on 10th May 2017 in CSEC at 7pm.

This event will be directed towards what you need to know for your 3rd and 4th year exams (useful for dermatology and GP) and will include:
-Lectures/brief seminars of the common dermatology conditions
-OSCES
-Picture Quiz
-Handouts

This was extremely popular last year and spaces are limited. If you're interested we recommend you contact us as soon as possible to book your place.

The British Association of Dermatologists essay competition is currrently open!

Prize: £500 and 3x £250
Deadline: 20th January
Title for 2017: “Is British Dermatology better in or out of Europe?”

The prize is open to any undergraduate medical student studying at a university in the UK or Ireland.
