𝗤: 𝗪𝗵𝗼 𝗮𝗺 𝗜?

A: Hi, I’m Sophie – a full-time A-Level Biology & Chemistry tutor based in Northern Ireland, specialising in the CCEA exam board. I’m a qualified teacher, examiner, and full-time tutor, which means I dedicate my entire working life to helping my students succeed. Outside of tutoring, I’m a proud gaming nerd with a whole tattoo sleeve covered in Bowser, Toad, Snorlax, Spyro and more! 🎮

A: I started out as a classroom teacher, but I realised I could make a bigger impact working one-to-one. I trialled full-time tutoring during the pandemic, loved it, and never looked back. Now, I get to focus on individual student needs every single day – and that’s what I do best.

A: I have a Biology degree from Imperial College London, trained as a teacher through Ark Teacher Training & Goldsmiths University, and I’m also an A-Level examiner. I know exactly what examiners are looking for – because I am one!

A: Organic chemistry – an absolute masterpiece of a topic. Genetics & gene technology are a close second.

A: Gaming, travelling with my husband Ronan, and getting stuck into DIY and gardening projects – usually covered in either mud or paint.
