The Ultimate Year 8 Send-Off Begins! ☀️🐐🍿
Our Year 8s started their final week at school with a trip to remember at Streamvale Farm!
We promised them a week full of fun, and day one definitely delivered. Watching them laugh their way through the barrel rides, bounce around the castles, shoot in the cannon blast room, and make friends with the local puppies and rabbits was the perfect start to their farewell week.
We are incredibly proud of this group, and we’re determined to give them a send-off they’ll never forget to make sure these kids leave us with the happiest memories possible. Keep your eyes on our page for more of our final week adventures! 🎉

Last week, the Newstart St Gerard's Juniors visited Stormont for a fascinating insight into how government works and how decisions are made that affect our communities.

The group also stopped off at Mo Mowlam Play Park for some team-building activities

From the Art Room to the Joinery Studio! 🪵🎨
Our students were putting their practical skills to the test today! They stepped into the joinery room to add the finishing touches—screwing on eye caps—to the wonderful garden decorations they’ve been crafting in Art class. 🛠️🌻
A massive thank you to Tarzy for taking the time to teach the students how to safely and confidently handle a combi drill. Learning these hands-on, real-world skills safely is such an important part of what we do here at Newstart.
