GCSE Results Day

Congratulations to our Year 12 students on their excellent GCSE results this morning. Well done also to our Year 11 students on their modular results.

It was great to see so many pupils, parents and staff celebrating in the William Moles Hall. 🦌

Farewell to Mrs Buchanan and Mrs Caulfield! 😔

We said goodbye today to two amazing ladies who have given so much to Grosvenor over many years. The deeply positive impact they have had on so many is incalculable, from the HE classrooms to countless other aspects of school life, not least in the Scripture Union. They have been so caring, compassionate and a model of selflessness in putting the needs of others first at every opportunity; in fact, rather than winding down to retirement, they were both leading the SU Weekend in Portrush as recently as last weekend and serving treats to the staff this week! Well done Mrs Caulfield and Mrs Buchanan on your fantastic careers. Best wishes for a long and happy retirement and thank you so much for your service to Grosvenor! ❤️

Barcelona Trip 2026

The group enjoyed a hot and adrenaline-filled day at the theme park on Wednesday. The most popular rides for the more adventurous of the group were the Furious Baco, Shambala and Dragon Khan rollercoasters, but the log flume and Tutuki Splash were also firm favourites.

For their last night in Salou, they enjoyed fun on the beach before a late evening swim! Thank you to Mrs Salt and her team for leading what sounds like an amazing experience for everyone!

Well done to swimmers Calvin, Year 8, and James, Year 9, who recently travelled to Germany to compete in the prestigious ‘Stuttgart International Swimfest’.

Calvin came away from the competition with an impressive one silver and three bronze medals, while James set a new personal best in the 200m front crawl.

This morning Mrs Buchanan held a Year 9 end-of-year Assembly in Lecture Dance, to round off the year. Pupils were recognised for placing within the Top 10 of the Year Group in the Summer Exams and being amongst the Top 10 movers from winter to summer, while the Charity Ambassadors from each form class were invited to display their classes’ totals.

Well done to everybody on their successes and endeavours throughout the year!

Many thanks to Darren Nixon, from 'eye4education', who delivered a pair of worthwhile workshops to Years 9 and 11 in the William Moles Hall yesterday. Darren’s sessions, which focused on developing skills such as communication, teamwork and logical thinking, proved most engaging and were extremely well received by all participants.
