Congratulations to our students who are part of the Sandy Tigers U14 Oranges football team on an outstanding season π§‘β½
At their recent presentation event, the team received their trophies as Bedfordshire Saturday Youth League Winners 2026. The squad completed the league campaign undefeated, won the Beds FA Cup for their age group and were also named Tigers Team of the Year in recognition of their remarkable achievements.
The players have shown great commitment, teamwork and determination throughout the season, earning promotion and looking forward to the challenge of competing in a higher division next year.
Students from our school who have given permission to be named are:
π Brendan Galvin (Captain)
π Macie Darrington
π Samuel Geeves
π Joseph Thompson
π Joe Rhodes
π Kye Ford
π Thomas Hunt
π Logan O'Donnell
π Freddie Smith
π Lucas Robson
π Theo Thompson
We would also like to recognise that other students from our school are part of the team and have contributed to these achievements, but do not have permission to be named. Well done to the whole team!

This session will feature a powerful guest speaker, Jamie, who will share her personal experience after her child became involved in gang violence. Her story offers valuable insight into the importance of early awareness and intervention.

Our Year 12 students attended their fieldwork residential this week on the beautiful Holderness Coast. ππ
During the trip, students visited a range of coastal locations, including Flamborough Head and Spurn Point, where they explored coastal processes and the impacts of erosion. They also spent time in Hull, investigating the regeneration taking place across the city and seeing first-hand how geographical concepts are applied in real-world settings. ποΈ
It was a fantastic opportunity to bring classroom learning to life. Many thanks, as always, to the staff for organising and supervising the trip ππ
