A great first week back! 🌟

This week, we focused on telling the time, specifically understanding quarter past, quarter to, and half past, as well as matching digital and analogue clocks. We have explored division using practical resources to help us understand sharing equally. We have also been working hard in phonics, using our phonics knowledge to support both reading and writing.

Fantastic effort from everyone this week – keep up the great work! 👏✨

Another busy week 📚✨
We’ve been working on:
• Fine motor skills
• Recognising and understanding numbers to 12
• Letter and number formation
• Listening to sounds and “hitting the flies” 🪰
• Converting ml and l
• Measuring with accuracy
• Answering SATs-style reasoning questions
We even used Diary of a Wimpy Kid to solve the mystery of who ruined the school fair — lots of great thinking and problem-solving all round!
