A huge thank you to B S Bell Building Services for fixing the leaky roofs on our EYFS and Forest School sheds and to Riseley PTA for funding this project as part of their wider Big Outdoor Adventure fundraiser. Your hard work has helped protect our resources from the elements and provide further longevity to our sheds. We really appreciate your support and the difference it has made.

UK Parliament's Teacher Training Team are celebrating 20 years of their Teacher Ambassador Programme and are excited to welcome applications from teachers at schools and colleges across North Bedfordshire!
The programme is open to headteachers, teachers and educators at all stages of their career, teaching any subject.
The successful 65 applicants will have their travel, accommodation, and meal costs covered. The course aims to build confidence in teaching about UK Parliament so they can then cascade what theyβve learned to their schools and communities following the programme.
Throughout the three days, teachers will:
- explore the Palace of Westminster
- participate in Q&A sessions with the Speaker, Lord Speaker and Members of both Houses
- hear from colleagues working in key roles across the House
- collaborate with each other to explore ways of teaching about UK Parliament.
The closing date for applications is Sunday 29th March. Should you have any questions, please contact the team at [email protected]

We are so grateful to Riseley PTA for all their incredible hard work fundraising for these much needed resources. So much time, effort and dedication goes into planning and running every event they set up and their consistent support for and collaboration with the school is wholly appreciated. π
π³ The Big Outdoor Adventure π³
Riseley Primary PTA are thrilled to share some exciting news with you all about The Big Outdoor Aventure, a project that simply wouldnβt be possible without the incredible generosity, donations, and ongoing support from our school community.
π Thanks to you, weβre able to move forward with some fantastic developments this year, including the addition of two new Reading Nooks in the playground, perfectly timed to support the National Year of Reading 2026 and inspire a love of reading outdoors.
π³ Weβre also making significant improvements to Forest School, with plans for a new permanent fire pit structure, improved storage facilities and a range of resources to enhance outdoor learning experiences.
βοΈ Looking ahead, weβll also be working together to raise the funds required to resurface the MUGA and also provide some much needed shade for the playground, ensuring even more high-quality outdoor facilities for our children to enjoy.
Thank you for helping us turn these ideas into reality, we truly couldnβt do it without you! π

Thanks to a grant secured with Real Bedford we have managed to rejuvenate football within our school by replacing broken football goals on our MUGA, and getting new footballs and hand whistles for PE, benefitting the whole school and those who hire our MUGA space.
