Last week, in the King's speech, King Charles confirmed the sweeping changes planned to the educational system. Mainstream schools will receive additional funding for training, resources and expertise to become more inclusive, and children with SEND should be able to go to school near their home.
As well as new responsibilities for schools, it's also an opportunity - to expand not just support, but also skills and knowledge. This inclusivity is what I had in mind when I built https://wiredformovement.com/schools/, because it is truly inclusive - addressing physical, neurological and emotional development, and neither depriving achieving children of challenge, nor leaving out those who struggle or have SEND.
I hope to help those schools and teachers wanting to get behind the new bill and be early adopters of proactive measures to transform 'Education for All'.

Happy sunny days with Wired for Movement being used in more schools and homes, and soon with some amazing sport coaching companies.
And after a successful trip to India and being accepted on the Ready to Scale programme (fully funded 😎), things are really kicking off with the brilliant team at the
Bettany Centre for Entrepreneurship at Cranfield University.
A year ago I left the fire service to focus on this work. Although I miss mostly everyone there… this venture is real a buzz!!! New learning for me, and an ongoing way to keep serving the community. 🤩

Really enjoyed meeting Matt Ogle and his S4A team learning more about the brilliant work being done in schools and for children with SEN last week. It’s always a pleasure to connect with people who genuinely care about doing the right thing for children, families, and schools. Looking forward to exploring how we can work together to make practical support more accessible where it’s needed most.

Great to be delivering Wired for Movement this week at The Academy of Central Bedfordshire across the Stotfold and Houghton sites.
Huge credit to the SLT for embedding the programme within nurture and support groups, and a big thank you to Nathan Davis for championing it so wholeheartedly and integrating it into PE lessons.
Really looking forward to seeing the impact this has for students as it develops over the coming weeks.

Wait - how does this help learning??? 'Attack of the Monsters' is a www.WiredforMovement.com game that helps develop the muscle tone needed to support ease in writing and all learning activities. Children immerse themselves in a dramatic, physical storytelling adventure, where they act out the roles of heroes and monsters through exaggerated, controlled movements. Using the rhythm and energy of inspiring music, they embody their characters with bold actions, strengthening muscle tone through large, deliberate movements. This playful and dynamic activity helps children improve coordination, balance, and body control as they engage in both powerful and fluid motions. Best of all, all the kids know, is that they're having fun!
