Thank you to everyone who has supported me over the last (almost nine) eight years! However, all good things must come to an end, please read the rest of the caption below, to explain this difficult decision.

Our Final Announcement

Thank you to everyone who has been part of our journey here at Ashmina’s Academics. For the last eight years (almost nine!) we have had the pleasure of working as a free lance tutor, a voluntary tutor and as a business.

After lots of thinking in the last year, during our slow down phase, we feel now is the right time to end this era of private tuition. We are so incredibly proud of our commitment to the local community and our establishment as a business in our lovely little town of Bedford. We have had the opportunity to support students all over the country too and we will be grateful to every single student and parent who has trusted us to support their children.

However, all good things must come to an end. Ashmina’s Academics has grown from a dining room session, to mobile sessions in your home, to a classroom experience and embraced the online sector too. Whilst we have supported tirelessly, now feels like a good time to take a step back and enjoy and embrace things in life that do matter most: family, friends and health.

Thank you to every single person who has supported our dream. Every single person who has provided a recommendation for us. Every single person who has said our name in a room full of opportunities. Every single person who has shown compassion in our hardest times. Every single person who has helped us get to where we are today.

Ashmina’s Academics was born in a 20 year old Ashmina’s mind and its fruition was everything we could have ever wanted and more. Now, almost nine years later, we feel it is time to say goodbye. The key to life is to ensure you never spread yourself too thin, and whilst the business has ensured we have supported students, we need to take this time back to focus on us too.

Thank you all for your support, you have no idea what it means to us at all.

Bali Rai is a talented writer who focuses on cultural themes in his literature. His books are very accessible and I would highly recommend them for students who struggle with reading (he has a range of books that are supportive for students who have dyslexia/other learning difficulties) and for those who enjoy reading and learning about the Punjabi culture/ identify with cultural barriers.

Please see the attached dates and times for final revision sessions here at Ashmina’s Academics. You do not need to be a current client to book in, we are welcoming all year eleven student who need that final push before their exams.

Sessions are 121 and can take place online or in our office.

Tomorrow we will be releasing the final slots for tutoring sessions until the final English Language exam. These slots are open to any student, so you do not need to be a current student to request a place.

We have experience teaching both the AQA and Edexcel exam boards, so do get in touch if you have any questions.

We are back with a BANG💥

Tomorrow morning kick starts the start of the final countdown for exams and we cannot wait to welcome our students into the office! Saturdays are now filled with: ‘Macbeth, ‘Romeo and Juliet’, ‘A Christmas Carol’, ‘Blood Brothers’, ‘An Inspector Calls’, ‘Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde’, English Language Paper One and English Language Paper Two.

We are ready for a productive day ahead🙌🏾 and hope our students are too!
