An end of year message to parents/ carers:
Today marks the end of the school year. It
certainly seems to have flown by, and just
like that, we have reached the end of term! It
has been a lovely final week, filled with a
variety of rewards and end-of-year events
taking place across the school that the
children have thoroughly enjoyed. A special
'well done' to all of our values winners who
were presented with wards for 'creativity' in
assembly this morning.
It is time to say a fond farewell to our
wonderful Year 6 children who leave us
today. They have had a super final week to
end their time at Camestone, including a
fantastic production and a brilliant leavers'
trip to Wicksteed Park yesterday. I am sure
they have made lots of special memories
over the last few days. They also have some
super KS2 SATs results to boast aboutβa
huge congratulations to the children for their
hard work! We will miss them all greatly and
are incredibly proud of everything they have
achieved during their time with us. Please
know that you are always welcome to come
back and visit.
To those parents and carers who are also
saying goodbye to us today: thank you for
choosing Camestone. Thank you not just for
trusting us with educating your children, but
also for partnering with us to nurture them
into the fantastic young people they are
today. I wish you all the very best for the
future!
I would like to take this opportunity to thank
our staff for all of their hard work this year.
They work tirelessly to provide the incredible
opportunities that our children enjoy. I am
sure you will all join me in wishing them a
very well-deserved, relaxing summer break.
We don't have any staff leaving us at the end
of this school year, which I hope goes to
show just how much they enjoy working at
Camestone!
Finally, I would like to extend my heartfelt
thanks to all of you as parents and carers.
Our staff have been overwhelmed by the
many gifts and kind words they have
received over the last week. This is never
expected, but it is always deeply
appreciated. I am incredibly proud of the
school community we have built here at
Camestone and truly value all of your
contributions. Your involvement has a
massive, positive impact on our children. On
a personal note, thank you all for your
continued support. Leading a school
community can be tricky at times, but
working alongside your wonderful children, a
brilliant staff team, and supportive families
makes it all worthwhile.
Have a super summer, enjoy spending
quality time with your children, and we look
forward to seeing you all refreshed and
ready in September!
