We will try and keep parents updated with everything going on in school as often as we possibly can. We will try to provide useful links and any other information that we feel will help improve your child's learning. I just wanted to say a huge thank you to all the children, parents, and staff for my amazing send-off. I am never keen to be the centre of attention and far rather have the children take centre stage! However, it has been an incredible week and I have been thoroughly spoilt.Thank you for so many thoughtful treats, kind words, and personal touches. It has been endless: the dances, cakes, and vouchers. I will now have time to read all year round, and eat out at some very luxurious restaurants! My special engraved Wimbledon glass is already packed and ready for next year now that I will actually have the time to watch it. The car ride was unforgettable, and my house—as well as my mum's—is filled with flowers from top to bottom. I even had to borrow vases from my daughter’s house as I didn’t have enough!The words you have put in your cards mean the world to me, and I absolutely love all the cards and homemade gifts from the children. Thank you so much. Mrs Ball, thank you for making it all happen—you are the best!
Wishing everyone a lovely summer. Children, I look forward to sitting in the audience to watch some of your amazing performances next year!

🎉🍦 What a fantastic way to celebrate the end of Year 6! 🍦🎉

From ice cream for breakfast 🍨, outdoor slides 🛝, water fights 💦, plenty of music 🎶 and lots of laughter 😄, today was a day to remember!

As one chapter closes, another exciting adventure begins. 🌟 We are so proud of everything you have achieved and can't wait to see what the future holds for each and every one of you.

Good luck as you move on to the next stage of your journey. Believe in yourselves, work hard, and enjoy every moment. 💙✨

🌟 Mrs Turnbull 🌟 We hope you have enjoyed your last week with us as our headteacher and enjoyed all of the surprises we have given you. A gorgeous surprise send off, best headteacher trophy at the Y6 leaver’s service, a picnic, lots of wonderful singing 🎶 and dancing 🕺 and a special ride to school this morning! Happy retirement - we will miss you so much! ❤️

EYFS have had a fantastic time learning all about firefighters! 🚒 We’ve been dressing up as firefighters, making our own fire engines and badges and writing about the important equipment firefighters need to do their jobs. 👍

We visited Bedale Fire Station where we looked inside a real fire engine, had a turn using the hose, and even tried on some of the firefighters’ equipment. 🔥🧯🚒
To cool off in the hot weather, we had lots of fun running through the water sprinkler at the end! Thank you so much to the amazing staff at the fire station for such a wonderful afternoon! ❤️

The children were incredibly well-behaved, curious, and engaged throughout the visit. We are so proud of them and would like to say a huge thank you to them, the firefighters and the parent helpers who joined us for such a memorable experience! 🚒🥺

Today, after a couple of weeks off due to the heat, our lovely Lola came back for a final visit before the summer holidays. As per usual, the children thoroughly enjoyed reading with her and giving her a few yummy treats. Thank you so much to Maria and Lola for their visits and we hope to see them in the future 🤞🏻

⛪ Today, our Year 6 pupils attended their leavers' service at Ripon Cathedral.The service was beautiful and marked a meaningful end to their time at primary school.We are proud of everything this year group has achieved. As they prepare for the transition to secondary school, we wish them all the very best for the future. 🚀
