Good afternoon,

I am currently planning out lessons for my small group GCSE English tuition sessions for half term. Before I send out exact days and times, I’d like to gauge interest in which sessions students would like.

Please let me know if your child is interested in any of the following:

Literature:
-Macbeth - two different sessions focussing in two different themes/characters in the play.
-Romeo and Juliet
-Unseen poetry - how to analyse a poem I’ve never seen!
-An Inspector Calls: how do I answer an exam question in this without the text in front of me?
Language:
-Language paper 1 (reading session and writing session)
-Language paper 2 (reading session and writing session)

Once I have an idea of what sessions children are interested in, I’ll you know dates and times.

Each session will be 90 minutes and cost £50 each per session. There will be several sessions in one day and children are able to join up to any they might find useful.

If there are any sessions not outlined above that you’d like, please do let me know.

HALF TERM ENGLISH TUITION

✏️ GCSE English Language suitable for year 10s, 11s and students retaking exams in Nov.

I provide small group tuition, at my house, for year 10 and 11 students to help with the English GCSEs. I am an experienced teacher, examiner and consultant who still works in schools but in my spare time I also tutor.
