Press Play with Jo Fiddy I’m Jo Fiddy Motivational Speaker | Menopause Mentor | Rapid Tapping® Pro
Helping women globally press PLAY on menopause. www.jofiddy.com

The goal within all my coaching is to empower you to feel good about yourself, so you are not overcome with self-doubt and heavy with overwhelm anymore. When you are in your flow, you have a positive mindset, your energy is vibrating, that inner critic is switched off, things feel effortless, you glow and you naturally start to live and create more of what you desire in life and relationships. I b

elieve in connecting the body and mind and focusing on self-love, building confidence, self-esteem, boundaries, changing unhealthy patterns and taking inspired action that aligns with your purpose. There was life before I discovered the power of self-love and did ‘the inner work’ and then life after I tapped into its power and transformed my life. I’m here to show you that you can too.

HRT, protein and more cottage cheese than you have ever eaten in your life. Strength training, supplements, prioritising sleep.

Do you feel like doing all the things but still feel overwhelmed, raging and anxious?

So let’s talk about what’s running underneath all of that.

Because a belief isn’t just a thought.

I’m getting old. I should be coping better. I’ve lost my edge. I’m losing my mind.

When your brain interprets something as threatening, your stress response can kick in before your conscious brain has even caught up.

In perimenopause, fluctuating oestrogen is already interacting with the brain systems involved in stress, mood and cognition.

So those beliefs matter.

I call the beliefs running in the background your Belief Soundtrack®. Until we work out what’s playing on that soundtrack, everything else can only do so much.

Tapping is where you take your finger off the pause button and press play. It’s the tool I use to work with the nervous system and the beliefs underneath at the same time, helping to bring cortisol down, calm the stress response and create space for those old patterns to finally shift.

You deserve more than just getting through this. You deserve to feel better, with a regulated nervous system, the clarity to make informed choices about your health and the energy to actually live the life you’ve been building.

That’s what I help women do.

What if your 40s aren’t the last dance? What if they’re a brand-new dance floor? 🪩

Somewhere along the way women inherited a pretty miserable soundtrack about getting older. Slow down, your best years are behind you, menopause means decline.

We might consciously disagree, but what about the beliefs we’ve absorbed over decades about ageing, our bodies, beauty, success and what a woman’s life is supposed to look like?

Some become subconscious patterns, influencing how we think, behave and respond to stress without us even realising it.

Then perimenopause arrives.

Oestrogen fluctuates, our brains are navigating huge hormonal change and our stress response can feel different too.

This is where it gets really interesting for me.

We talk so much about longevity in our 40s. Protein, weights, HRT, creatine, sleep, bone health, brain health. I’m absolutely here for all of it.

But what about the stress and beliefs we’re carrying into the next 30 or 40 years?

Our stress and reproductive hormone systems interact, so I believe taking care of our nervous system and working with the beliefs that can keep triggering our stress response deserves a place in the longevity conversation too.

This is The Invisible Pause. Consciously you want more, but underneath there’s still a belief maybe living in the script of the Pause and Post years.

It’s why I use tapping in my work, working with the nervous system and bringing those subconscious beliefs and patterns into awareness rather than simply trying to think our way out of them.

Because longevity isn’t only about how long we live. It’s about how we live and who we’re becoming.

What are you putting on pause?
How can you start choosing yourself and press play?

Maybe this isn’t your last dance at all. Maybe there’s a whole dance floor waiting for you.

Comment Comeback and I’ll send you my free guide to get you started.

Reflecting on this gorgeous UK trip before we fly out today.

We popped into London, staying in a hotel to break up the journey. The kids call it Mummy’s world.

I moved to London from Norfolk in 1998. No Google Maps back then, just my trusty A–Z that somehow always found its way home after a night out. More reliably than my shoes after dancing at The Cross… those were the days.

It’s still wild to walk streets that hold so many memories of my loved but never to be repeated twenties and career-driven thirties. Some I’ve even forgotten that blast up.

It’s funny how a place can instantly transport you back to a different version of yourself.

Last night we watched Toy Story 5 with the girls, and it hit me all over again how quickly life moves. One minute you’re figuring out London with an A–Z tucked under your arm, the next you’re watching your own children grow up far too fast.

Life is precious.

And maybe that’s the little reminder I’m taking from this trip: we spend so much time thinking about what’s next, but sometimes it’s worth noticing the life we’re actually in.

What part of your life do you want to be more present for right now?

Today I’ll be soaking up time with my mum, probably hiding behind a very large pair of sunglasses when I say goodbye. I know in my heart Munich is home now, and it’s where I’m meant to be… but leaving never gets any easier.

Ok, time to get ourselves ready for the day.

UK, you’ve been fab xx

I’ve been thinking a lot about the conversations we’re having around perimenopause.

I feel like there’s so much talk around perimenopause and the symptoms… and rightly so.

However I see time and time again through my work, in myself and in conversations with friends, that it’s not just about the symptoms.

It’s about how those symptoms make us feel.

There’s so much fear around perimenopause. Even the language used to describe it, that it’s coming for us and we can’t outrun it.

It’s like this adrenaline-fuelled anxiety clusterf**k of fear that we’re all grappling with, ticking off our symptom bingo cards and wondering what’s coming next.

I think we’re all just feeling quite scared. But where does this fear really come from?

Because the symptoms don’t arrive on their own.

They arrive on top of inherited beliefs and a lifetime of messages about ageing and what it means to be a woman getting older.

The worry of becoming invisible. Slowing down, losing our edge and maybe not being enough.

So when brain fog, anxiety, exhaustion, sleepless nights or rage arrive, they’re landing on years of beliefs we’ve picked up along the way, shaped by a patriarchal society that has taught women to fear ageing far more than men.

Can anyone name a female equivalent of a Silver Fox?

So I’d love to ask you….

What story have you started believing about yourself since perimenopause?

And… Is that story actually true?

Or is it simply an old belief that’s become louder because of everything your brain and body are going through right now?

Because perimenopause is a rite of passage. It’s a landmark moment that reminds us we’re alive because it’s a natural part of ageing. Modern science shows that the female brain is evolving, we’re getting a powerful upgrade. For many women we’ll spend more time in post-menopause than in pre-menopause. In many cultures this is celebrated! Let’s embody more of that.

This is why I do the work I do. Supporting women to understand what’s happening in their brains and bodies, challenge the beliefs that keep them playing small, and start pressing play on themselves again.
