Bebington Nursery & Preschool - Little Cherubs Little Cherubs Day Nursery providing excellent opportunities for children to learn and develop. That is why we use a specialist caterer ‘Apetito’.

We are approved providers for children in receipt of two year old funding. We also accept children who receive the universal three and four year old funding. We know how important it is that children are provided with healthy and nutritious meals. The menus are compiled with the assistance of a professional dietician to ensure they conform to the latest nursery food guidelines therefore providing healthy, balanced dishes bursting with fresh fruit and vegetables. We are happy to cater for children with specific dietary requirements. Starting your search for great childcare can be daunting. Where do you start? We can go through everything and support you. Today we are back with our care home visits🏡. We loved getting on the mini bus and all had big smiles ready for our first visit!❤️. Once we arrived, we visited our first unit where we enjoyed doing some water painting🖌️. We loved watching all the colours come through and seeing what the pictures made! Next we had a game of connect 4 (which we loved) before having a lovely snack. We then moved onto the next unit where we enjoyed some colouring, some more games and lots of conversation🖍️. We loved our visit today and can’t wait to visit again next week💕

This afternoon some of our babies and toddlers have enjoyed making a mess 🫟, exploring paint with their hands🖐🏻🎨 and practicing their fine motor skills 🖌️ We especially loved mixing the colours, developing our language, and sharing with our friends ❤️👫 Our older children loved using the Kiddisink to wash their hands after 🙌 🫧

Little preschool enjoyed playing mini scientists 🧪 this morning! The aim of our activity was to fill up our ice trays 🧊to use later on today🙂. The children used many different materials to explore this activity such as tweezers to pick up the sequins✨, Pom poms and cotton balls then the pipettes to expand on their fine motor skills when transporting the water 💦 to the trays. The children enjoyed using the jugs independently and mixing the variety of colours together🎨. The children worked very well together, sharing and supporting one another❤️

Today during our session with Jo Jingles we went on a number adventure! We explored different ways to count our numbers such as counting sizzling sausages and the little ducklings 🐥 , feeding our fish and counting our swinging monkeys 🐒 and 5 little men. We ended our session with some bubbles and big cuddles from Jo 🫧

What an incredible final trip for many of our school leavers. We enjoyed walking down to the park 🌳where we played lots of games of eye spy even spotting some bugs🐛. On our way we saw some lovely friendship rocks 🪨 which we relocated to share some joy with the rest of the community. The best part was definitely having a turn on the zip line and going really fast. ❤️ what lovely last memories ❤️

We’ve had the most gorgeous summer of local, little day trips for some of our older children who are now leaving us to go to school. Today we went to Tam O’Shanters. I did ask them if they could stop growing and stay with us forever but they said ‘no they had to eat and drink and get big and strong and go to big school’.
It has been so lovely to spend time with them. They have beautiful manners, are caring, kind and respectful. We can’t wait to see what they achieve ⭐️
