The pupil mentioned in the article as being on a residential was there alongside others from across our Trust.

Declining pupil numbers, driven by falling birth rates and other factors, present very real challenges for schools like ours. It’s an issue that deserves continued attention and support from government.

Due to continued snow and/or ice in the local area overnight we are delaying opening today until 10.45am with school starting as normal for pupils at 11am.

We apologise for any inconvenience but are very conscious of the condition of our local rural roads as staff and pupils journey to school.

Happy New Year all and we look forward to seeing you a little later today!
