I am really happy to be able to offer this group to the Battle community. I am a special needs teacher, specialising in the Early Years, with over 15 years experience. I understand the importance of sensory exploration and play for early development, and am passionate about supporting children’s early communication, as well as supporting them to enjoy social interaction and play! Alongside this, I
am a mum of 3 and so all too familiar with the highs and lows of parenthood! (And especially a mother’s guilt…never quite feeling that you’re doing enough)! I have teamed up with the lovely people from St Mary’s Battle, to ensure this offer can be for everyone in the local community, so if anyone is feeling slightly isolated or overwhelmed as a new mum, they have a place to go for support. (And let’s face it, we can all feel like that sometimes whether it’s your 1st or 5th baby)! I therefore aim for this class to be an opportunity to forget the daily trials and tribulations and simply have fun with your baby in a friendly, relaxed environment.
