Finishing the week with some adorable baby role play. The children were doctors and nurses, carefully caring for the babies and putting them to bed. We also painted some lovely pictures including colourful rainbows, and finger and hand prints! 🌈

A fun week welcoming our new ladybirds who have settled amazingly! Lots of free flow play as they explore their new play space! We've been so busy with crafts, baking, shopping, playdoh, puzzles, roleplay, singing, dancing and so much more! 🥰

A lovely morning spent at the allotment to see all the summer growth! We spotted a 🐛 and baby 🐸! The children saw all the carrots, cabbage, onions, leaks and apples coming along nicely. We picked sweet peas too to bring home and put in vases to brighten up our play space. Smell lovely! 💐

Some work behind the scenes is to look at myself and think about how I can do more, or ways I could improve or change my practice!

Now we've moved and settled, it's important I take time to reflect and act on how care is provided in my setting. I've been setting some time aside at night to look at my own practice, and read over self-evaluation information and "challenge questions". This ensures I'm consistently evaluating my setting and the delivery of care to ensure the children thrive! It also allows me to consider areas of practice I feel I could improve or change 🥰
As a sole worker this opportunity allows me to see for myself areas I feel I am doing well in, which can be personally challenging when you work alone and challenge your own ways of working! 😊
This work is a key area of paperwork the care inspectorate consider during inspections when evaluating my service!

How delicious do our coconut and rainbow truffles look! 😋 With it being a miserable morning we decided to pop to Aldi for biscuits to smash into crumbs! We added all the ingredients before rolling the mixture into balls, and then in and around bowls of coconut and sprinkles! Super duper yummy!
