Good evening everyone.
I've just listed this Svend Aarge Rasmussen chest of drawers. I have to say the pictures in my new workshop make it look as good as it is.
The last picture is obviously not a chest of drawers, just the old disused railway line, repurposed these days for runners, walkers and bike riders.
For those of you who don't know much about me here goes.
In the last couple of decades I've had sepsis 5 times, had two half knee replacements and my legs straightened on account of rickets, been diagnosed with prostate cancer (still active) the cancer that is. I've had 2 slipped disc, both of which have left me with permanent damage.
That's the medical stuff.
There's plenty of life traumas which I won't go into.
I imagine I have you're attention by now?
However, this post isn't about me, that was all context.
The picture of the trail is because I've started running again. I'm currently 3 weeks in to training for another marathon later next year.
I want to start up a sponsorship kind of thing on Facebook for children with cancer.
I hope that those of you that benefit from my tutorials from which I earn nothing, will give to a great cause.
Don't feel sorry for me, I'm on my way back.
Please feel for the sick children for whom I wish to dedicate my marathon.
Advice about how to set this all up will be greatly appreciated too.

Just doing a little upholstery tonight.
The set goes to London on Thursday.
I found a picture or two of the chair/s before I expressed my opinion.
Tricky stuff next week.

Hi everyone.
I had one of my students visit on Monday, a social call.
It ended with a bit of tuition, which I was fine with.
It got me thinking, a dangerous thing as those who know me will attest.
Nobody seems to want to come to classes anymore, which I feel is largely for economic reasons. Video tutorials are fine but limited no matter how good they are.
The side business I'm developing will require some time. Some of my present work, the easier, repetitious stuff can be done by a student. They get to work alongside me and learn, I get to outsource some work, creating time.
It'll to be intermittent to suit both parties, but fair,
always fair.
I'll take two or three people who are really enthusiastic, at different times of course.
Get in touch if you're interested.

Having a few days off and then on to these Eric Buch arm chairs.
I'm refining the design a bit. I'll be veneering the backs with this birds eye maple. I'm also going to cut the backs a little short and link them to the frame with brass bar stock to give them the appearance of floating.
It'll make sense.
I'll post progress pics and vids.
Have great weekends.

Last of the tables today...promise.
This is a Svante Skogh Rosewood table.
There's a few residual dents on this one, and a little patina formed from its restoration ironically.
She still beautiful, and late 50s vintage makes her even older than me. So just her and the pyramids really.
Have great evenings.

2100 followers of the page today! š„³
It's a small community but a good one.
To begin, there's a lot of misconceptions out there about profiting from social media.
I'm a tiny content creator and earn nothing from the page, absolutely nothing.
I think I might have missed out of 14 cents onceš¤£
So what's the point some might ask?
You're the point, those of you that have joined a community that has integrity.
I don't have to clown for clicks, humiliate myself, insult and waste the audiences time.
I watch a bit of bo****ks myself on Facebook, and it's funny (mostly).
This page however, is just about education and perhaps encouraging folk to step away from the noise and use their hands.
So, thank you for supporting it. I hope you find it interesting enough to stay and perhaps recommend to a friend.
More videos coming but for today and mcm montage.
And for Good sake, keep restoring!
Only ā¤ļø, everything else is a poor 2nd.

2100 followers of the page!
We're a small community, but a good one.
Very glad to see all the engagement, and the kind words about the work I do.
I don't earn a thing from the page. I do believe I missed out on 14 cents onceš
That's not the point to be honest. The page is for you. I flatter myself that I don't have to clown for my audience, waste your time and mine with nonsense posts for clicks.
Just me going about the work I love.
No tutorial today, just the obligatory montage to mark the 2100 milestone.
