Not a "yoga person"? Not flexible enough for yoga? How can it help me get strong when I'm sitting in lotus pose the whole time?
Do you find yourself thinking or making similar comments when someone suggests you try out yoga?
Here's my take...
There's no such thing as a "yoga person", at least until you try it. And do try different styles of yoga. Then decide if it's for you. Fair enough?
Yoga is designed to help you become more flexible, so it's definitely for you if you feel you're not flexible. So you're in the right place.
Yes we do sit and practice mindfulness and breathing techniques, but most of the time we are on our feet practising poses of different challenge levels - from sun salutations to warrior poses to balances and even inversions. Variations and options are always offered so there's something for everyone.
Come to my classes and change your mind about yoga, like the lovely Anna-Viktoriia, who gave me this 5-star review on Google!
