Friends of Four Lanes Infant and Junior School

this afternoon come and grab an ice lolly for an end of year treat! We will be by the JUNIOR FIELD, not in the infant playground.

With just half a day to go here's a little look back on the year and how much we're raised so far. There's still time to keep raising through match funding or EasyFundraising before we close down our accounts for this academic year and ahead to 26/27 🥰

We'll be sharing a calendar of events for the next year very soon.
A little reminder that all of the funds raise are given to the school at our AGM in October, which is advertised and anyone can attend. Here you can hear our annual report, funds raised and the school will share how they plan to use the funds for this year and their hopes for future fundraising in the next 12 months.

Sports Day Refreshments! 🥤🍫

If you’re joining us for junior Sports Day this Friday, we’ll be selling a selection of cold drinks and snacks between 11:00am and 1:00pm.

Whether you need a refreshing drink while cheering on your superstar or a quick snack to keep you going, we’ve got you covered!

🧥👕🚗 CLOTHING COLLECTION DROP OFF TUESDAY 21st JULY! 🚗👚👟

Got a cupboard full of clothes that no longer spark joy? A mystery bag of “I’ll sort that one day” items lurking under the stairs? This is your moment.

Tuesday 21st July, we’re holding our next Happy Bags clothing collection and dropping off couldn’t be easier!

✅ Drop off - Just bring your unwanted clothing, shoes and accessories in any plastic bag or bin bag.

So have a quick wardrobe clear-out, fill a bag (or five!), and let us do the heavy lifting.

Before we all melt completely… 🥵☀️

A HUGE thank you to all of our amazing little partygoers for coming along to our Infant Mini Party today! 💙

With temperatures reaching “surface of the sun” levels, we had to completely rethink our plans at the last minute. That meant moving everyone into a different hall, rewriting plans, updating risk assessments and making lots of changes behind the scenes to keep everyone as cool and as safe as possible.

None of that would have been possible without our incredible volunteers and the wonderful school staff who stayed behind after a long day to help. You really are absolute superstars. ❤️

Yes, it may have felt like we were hosting the party inside a giant sauna… but hearing so many children leave saying, “That was the best party ever!” made every sweaty minute worthwhile. 🥹

Now it’s back to work/looking after our own children… preferably with an ice bath, an industrial fan and about 47 ice lollies! 🧊🍦😂

A huge thank you to our wonderful volunteers for helping at our junior disco last night.
Lots of fun had by all and we just couldn’t do it without you!

Our pupils were absolutely fantastic too – so beautifully behaved and such a joy to watch. It was lovely seeing them laughing, dancing, singing at the top of their lungs and making memories with their friends. 🥰

We hope the children had an amazing time… and that they slept really well afterwards! (You’re welcome, parents! 😉)

Next up… our Infant Mini Party next Friday! We can’t wait to do it all over again (just with slightly smaller dance moves!).

All current logo uniform has been reduced to £1 on our online store. This will still be allowed to be worn when the new logo comes out, so great for spares, but we just want to get rid of all the stock we have to make room for new logo items next year.
