Basingstoke Stage School is 46 years old today and we have three wonderful productions to stage during 2026.
We pride ourselves on being the longest established drama provider in the town and offering many opportunities for our members to act in a professional studio.
We are taking new members from Saturday 10th January through to Saturday 7th February.
We are located at QMC in the Central Studio complex every Saturday morning during term time from 10am till 12noon.
We offer 2 hour, dynamic drama sessions leading to a performance at the end of every term.

BASINGSTOKE STAGE SCHOOL

I started Stage School on 5th January 1980, and 44 years later we are as popular as ever.
We are at the Central Studio complex at QMC.
On the first session you won’t be committed to a term’s fees. You will only pay the “Day Rate“ of £12.00, preferably cash, which covers your child under our insurance policy as a temporary “Day Member” from the start of the session.
We hold a show at Central Studio at the end of every term.
Over the last year or so, we have staged, “The Wind in the Willows”, “A Midsummer Night’s Dream”, “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory” and Peter Pan.
Preparatory work has started on “The 2024 Variety Show”, which will be staged on 23rd March in Central Studio.
Our weekly sessions from 10am till 12noon, are held behind the main studio in 3 dance studios.
Somebody will be there to direct you over to us.
As a guide, a typical 10 week term is £112.00
Please note: Some terms can be 9 weeks long and some can be up to 12 weeks long.
We have lots of drama-loving young people from all over the area.

Saturday morning Stage School is from 10am till 12 noon, every Saturday during term time, at Central Studio QMC.

Basingstoke Stage School celebrates it’s 43rd birthday on 5th January.
We are currently taking on new members for our March 2023 show at Central Studio. We stage a show at the end of every term. We staged The Wind in the Willows, A Midsummmer Nights Dream and a Musicals R***e last year.
IN 2023, we have a Free Choice R***e in March, Charlie and The Chocolate Factory in July, and we end 2023 with a pantomime.
We take children from 6 years of age for the main Saturday Stage School and we have a thriving Youth Theatre (Ages 11 to 18)
Our new term starts on Saturday 7th January at 10am at Central Studio, QMC

We celebrate 43 wonderful years on 5th January 2023.
We start at 10.00am and we finish at 12noon. Our next show is on Saturdsy 25th March in Central Studio.
