Get Ready for the Solar Eclipse!

A huge thank you to Dr Jennifer Millard, astronomer, who has kindly donated 40 pairs of 3D eclipse glasses for our pupils to safely view the solar eclipse on 12 August. Dr Millard has generously provided eclipse glasses to all the secondary schools in Barry.

Dr Millard has also let us know that there will be an astronomy event at The Knap, Barry, from 6:00pm on 12 August. Anyone interested is welcome to come along, where there will be telescopes, additional eclipse glasses, and the opportunity to observe the eclipse with fellow astronomy enthusiasts.

We hope many of our pupils and families enjoy this exciting celestial event!
