The children looked absolutely fantastic in their school photographs – but they weren’t the only ones getting in front of the camera! Betty and Millie also had their very first-ever school photographs, and they looked every bit as adorable as our pupils!

October is Active Travel Month!

Throughout October, we’re challenging our Hall Orchard children and families to make their journey to school a little more active. Each class has its own Active Travel Wall Planner and will be tracking how children travel to school throughout the month. Walking, cycling, scooting and wheeling all count – and if you need to drive, why not park a little further away and walk the final part?

Let’s see just how many active journeys Team Hall Orchard can clock up this October!

PGL Day Three!

Bright sunshine for Year 6 this morning as they head off for a morning of raft building!

The big questions are… whose raft will actually float? Who will be victorious? Who will be the survivors?

And, most importantly… just how wet will Mrs Coneron get?!

Have a brilliant morning, Year 6!

🎯 DARTS WANTED! 🎯

Mr Harris is on a mission to turn Monday lunchtimes into Darts Club glory… but there’s one small problem:

He needs more darts!

If you have any unwanted sets of proper darts lurking in a cupboard or drawer at home, Mr Harris would be very grateful for donations to help keep his Monday Lunch Darts Club going.

Important: NO VELCRO DARTS!
Mr Harris has standards. This is serious business.

Donations can be handed in at the school office or passed to Mr Harris.

Thank you for supporting the next generation of Hall Orchard darts champions!

Harvest Cereal Box Collection

As part of our Harvest celebrations, this year we are asking our Hall Orchard community to help us support families experiencing breakfast poverty.

We are collecting boxes of breakfast cereal, which will be donated to help ensure that children and families in our local community have access to a nutritious breakfast.
If you are able to help, please send a box of cereal into school with your child and ask them to hand it to their class teacher. HOPS points will be awarded for donations!
We will be collecting cereal right up until our Harvest Service on Monday 6th October.
Every box will make a difference, and we would love to see just how many we can collect together!

Thank you, as always, for your wonderful support.
