Free school meals for universal credit recipients from Sept 2026 – APPLY NOW!

ANYONE ON UNIVERSAL CREDIT, REGARDLESS OF INCOME will be eligible for free school meals from Sept 2026.

The low-income cap has been removed and if you work and get UC top-up, you can get it.

Warm weather update!
Children can wear PE kits this week in the warm weather, if they would like to. If your child's PE kit is at school, they can get changed into it when they arrive and then bring it home. Trainers can also be worn. Please remember sunhats, drinks bottles and suncream! Mrs Salter would like Nursery in shorts and tshirts please.

The final sporting event of 2026! 🥹☀️
Our Year 5/6 athletics team took part in the annual athletics competition this afternoon and achieved a fantastic 4th place finish, with some amazing performances and podium places to celebrate.

What made us proudest of all was the encouragement, teamwork and enthusiasm shown throughout the afternoon. The children cheered each other on, celebrated together, shared plenty of laughs and cooled off with well-earned ice lollies.

Thank you to our incredible athletics team for such a special final event of 2026. We are so proud of every single one of you! 💛

A huge well done to our Year 6 tag rugby team, who competed in this week’s tag rugby competition. The boys have been working hard with Ellis throughout the term, and their dedication certainly paid off. They played brilliantly, winning their group and progressing to the semi-finals, where they were narrowly defeated. Every player gave their all and worked brilliantly together as a team. It was lovely to see how happy they were and how much they enjoyed themselves. Well done boys! 🏉
