Lampard Community School

🚜🐑 As part of their Future Friday activity, Yeo Class visited Futures Farm in Woolacombe and had a lovely afternoon!

They started by feeding the pigs 🐷 before splitting into two groups. One group fed the alpacas 🦙 and goats 🐐, while the other walked up the hill to feed the sheep and ponies 🐑🐴.

Yeo class also saw the Highland cattle 🐮, visited more alpacas, found a slow worm 🦎 (which some of them held!), groomed the Shetland ponies, and finished by bottle-feeding lambs 🍼🐑.

A fantastic afternoon on the farm, and they are already looking forward to visiting again soon! 😊

🔙 Throwback to Middle School Residential Day 2! 🌟

What a fantastic day of adventure and new experiences! 🏹🤺

The morning saw everyone taking part in archery and fencing, showing great focus, determination, and skill. After making their own lunches 🍽️, they headed to 🌊 Putsborough Beach for an afternoon of surfing 🏄, bodyboarding, and swimming in the sea.

There were plenty of smiles, lots of laughter, and memories made that will last a long time! 😄

Heron’s class took their learning outside and had a fantastic time planting sunflower seeds! 🌻
The children eagerly got their hands dirty in the sunshine while discussing the importance of sunlight, water, and soil for healthy plants.
Each child planted their own sunflower seed, and they were all excited to watch their sunflowers grow over the coming weeks!
🌞 The class will continue monitoring the plants’ growth, giving students a wonderful opportunity to observe the wonders of nature first-hand.

Foodbank vouchers

We know that anyone can find themselves at crisis point for a number of different reasons.
The Foodbank works with more than 100 different agencies, such as Citizens Advice, children’s centres, welfare officers, schools and health visitors.
If you are struggling to put food on the table, we can issue you with a Foodbank voucher.
We will take some basic details from you. This will help them to identify the cause of your crisis and offer practical guidance.
Once you have been issued with a voucher (or been given a voucher number), you can exchange this for a minimum of three days of emergency food at your nearest foodbank.
