Wow another graduation day 🧑‍🎓 for EarlyBirds Day Nursery 2026. Not only do we say good bye to the class of 2026, we are also tomorrow saying good bye to one of our staff members Abbi who is moving on to a new chapter.

As EarlyBirds Day Nursery opens its doors this morning, we say a happy 6th Birthday 🎁.

What a journey we have had so far, seeing all the children grow and begin their own individual learning journeys.

We are looking forward to many more years of fun and exciting times.

I personally would like to thank the team for making EarlyBirds what it is today.

We all look forward to meeting more families over the coming years.

The Role entails:

As a Level 3 Early Years Practitioner, you will play a key role in supporting children’s learning and development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). You will work closely with colleagues, parents, and carers to create engaging experiences that help every child reach their full potential.

Good evening to our parents at Woodville.

This afternoon I received some news that was something I never wanted to hear.

A post is circulating on social media which myself and the EarlyBirds team had not heard or notified prior to this afternoon.

A young person living in care above our Woodville site has been arrested over three and a half weeks ago for chatting explicitly to two children aged 14.

After making several phone calls, I have been informed that he was arrested and dealt with and is no longer allowed back to the flat or area.

I want to reassure all our family’s this was dealt with over three weeks ago and action was taken as soon as I found out this afternoon.

I have also been informed that new people are in this flat now and have nothing to do with this situation.

Good afternoon

Wow 🤩 what lovely weather we are having.

As you may all be aware some of our children are really struggling with this heat.

All the team at EarlyBirds are trying their best to keep them cool through many different activities.

As tomorrow looks like it is going to be higher temperatures, we are advising parents who do not need essential childcare to keep their child/children home, to ensure their safety and ability to keeping them cooler and more comfortable.

Please remember we are open as normal and all children are welcome but we will be assessing each child individually to see how they are coping.

If you have any questions please do give us a call.
