💚 WOW – £300 RAISED FOR MACMILLAN! 💚

We are delighted to announce that our Macmillan Coffee Morning & Cake Sale raised an amazing £248.69! 🎉🍰☕

Little Explorers Community Nursery has topped this up to make a fantastic total of £300! 💚

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who came along, bought cakes, donated and helped us raise money for such a special charity that is very close to our hearts.

We are so grateful for your kindness and support. Every cuppa, every slice of cake and every donation helped! 🥰

💚 A HUGE THANK YOU! 💚

Thank you so much to everyone who came along to our Macmillan Coffee Morning on Saturday. ☕🍰

We had such a lovely time, and it was wonderful to see everyone coming together to raise money for a very special charity that is very close to our hearts. 💚

We still have some delicious cakes left over, so they will be on sale tomorrow! 🧁🍰 Please help yourself and, if you can, pop a little donation in the box – every penny really does count.

We’ll be announcing our grand total at the end of next week, so keep your eyes peeled! 👀💚

🎉 CELEBRATING 10 YEARS OF LITTLE EXPLORERS 🎉

Celebrating our 10th birthday is such an incredibly proud moment for our owners, Nic and Katie. 💙

It all began 10 years ago with two best friends, one big dream and a shared passion for Early Years.

As experienced Early Years educators, Nic and Katie had a vision to create somewhere really special — a nursery where children could feel safe, happy and loved; where they could explore, discover, take risks, build confidence and, most importantly, be completely themselves.

So, with lots of hard work, determination and probably a few sleepless nights along the way, that dream became a reality and Little Explorers Community Nursery was born. 🌿✨

Ten years later, that little dream has grown into something we could never have imagined.

Hundreds of little people have walked through our doors and begun their adventures with us. We’ve watched first steps, heard first words, celebrated milestones, supported families, welcomed incredible educators into our team and waved our Mighty Explorers off as they began their next adventures at school. 🥹

There have been challenges, changes, laughter, tears and plenty of learning along the way — but one thing has never changed: our belief that little steps really do matter.

Little Explorers has always been so much more than a nursery to us. It is a community, a team and a huge part of our lives.

To every child, family, educator and friend who has been part of our story over the last decade — thank you. You have helped make Little Explorers what it is today.

We are unbelievably proud of the last 10 years… but we’re even more excited to see where our next adventure takes us. 💙

As we celebrate 10 amazing years of Little Explorers Community Nursery, we’re not only looking back at the children, families, memories and milestones that have made us who we are today — we’re also celebrating the incredible people who have been part of our journey. 🥰

We are so proud that many of our wonderful teamies have been with us for such a long time. We think that says something really special about the family we have created at Little Explorers. 💙

But there are two very special people who have been here since the VERY beginning…

From our very first year, through thousands of little people, countless meals, adventures, celebrations, changes, laughs and memories… Dan and Donna have been there through it all.

🎉💙 LITTLE EXPLORERS IS 10! 💙🎉

Can you believe it? This year we are celebrating an incredible 10 YEARS of Little Explorers Community Nursery! 🥹✨

Ten whole years of little footsteps through our doors, big adventures, first friendships, messy play, muddy puddles, cuddles, laughter, learning and SO many precious memories. 🌿

And a milestone this special deserves more than just one day of celebrating… so we’re making a whole month of it! 🎈

Throughout our birthday month, our Mini, Little and Mighty Explorers can look forward to lots of extra-special celebrations, including:

🎉 Special guests joining us along the way
⏳ Creating our very own Little Explorers 10th Birthday Time Capsule to capture this moment in our history
🌟 Special sessions, activities and experiences taking place throughout nursery for ALL our little people
🎈 And what birthday would be complete without balloons…

🎁 …and, of course, a PARTY BAG!

Over the last 10 years, hundreds of little people and their families have become part of our Little Explorers story, alongside so many wonderful educators who have helped make our nursery what it is today.

We feel incredibly lucky to have spent a whole decade watching little people explore, learn and grow. 💙

So throughout our birthday month, we’ll be looking back at some wonderful memories, celebrating how far we’ve come and, most importantly, making plenty of NEW memories with the little people who are part of our story today.

On friday we say goodbye to one of our amazing staff members Lilia! She has been a part of our mighty explorers room and helped our explorers transition to big school!

We want to wish Lilia the best of luck in her new role. The children, staff and our families are all going to miss seeing Lilia here at nursery! 💙
