Today our drills were mainly focused around continuous exercising / covering 50mins;

- 1️⃣ - hill shuttles & exercise pyramid
- 2️⃣ - loop jogging x2
- 3️⃣ - grass shuttles & fixed exercises

….and an ab blast to finish off!!!

🀩 A Challenging Morning 🀩

This was the session to add in something you wouldn’t do by choice…..

…starting off with some familiar style drills to switch everything on πŸ’ͺπŸ»πŸ¦΅πŸ»πŸ§ β€¦..

….then it was time to head towards the beast that is
Harborough Hills ⛰️

The aim being to make it to the top no matter what!!
Some chose to do it in 3rds (run/walk/run), some in halves (run/walk) and some tried to do it in 1 lol πŸ˜‚
⚑️0.25mi⚑️100ft elevation⚑️7.3% gradient⚑️
The reward was to jog back down hahahah.

Fantastic efforts from everyone, and the benchmark set for next time 😳🀣

Starting the day right with a session covering 4miles!!!

A great way to keep a constant workout and each person was able to pick their own exercise, giving them the ability to make it as challenging or enjoyable as they liked.

Taking full advantage of the Trans Pennine Trail for the 4 miles distance we covered!!
Brilliant to see so many people enjoying the outdoors on the trail too!! 🀩

Our aim was to include a hill for our running whilst completing exercise drills along the way… we bossed it!!

Making use of the Trans Pennine Trail again this week, just a slightly different start and finish.

We made use of the bridge at Stairfoot πŸ’ͺ🏻, the benches at Oakwell πŸ’ͺ🏻 and the hills on the muck stack near Barnsley Main Pit for a few-ish sprints πŸƒπŸ»β€β™‚οΈβ€βž‘οΈπŸƒπŸ»β€β™€οΈβ€βž‘οΈπŸ₯΅

3 miles covered with different heart rate zones throughout πŸ«€βœ…

πŸ“Œ & bonus pushups when the route provided the equipment 🀩🀩

….. all set over Dearne Valley Country Park, Trans Pennine Trail and slipping past Barnsley Main.

This mornings Sunday Sesh was a bit on the wet side β˜”οΈ but that didn’t stop us!!!

Our continuous approach was :

πŸ’₯ 30 seconds running & 30 seconds exercise πŸ’₯

To even out the effort levels some wore extra weight, such as weighted vests or ankle weights πŸ’ͺ🏻πŸ’ͺ🏻
