Today our drills were mainly focused around continuous exercising / covering 50mins;
- 1οΈβ£ - hill shuttles & exercise pyramid
- 2οΈβ£ - loop jogging x2
- 3οΈβ£ - grass shuttles & fixed exercises
β¦.and an ab blast to finish off!!!

This was the session to add in something you wouldnβt do by choiceβ¦..
β¦starting off with some familiar style drills to switch everything on πͺπ»π¦΅π»π§ β¦..
β¦.then it was time to head towards the beast that is
Harborough Hills β°οΈ
The aim being to make it to the top no matter what!!
Some chose to do it in 3rds (run/walk/run), some in halves (run/walk) and some tried to do it in 1 lol π

The reward was to jog back down hahahah.

A great way to keep a constant workout and each person was able to pick their own exercise, giving them the ability to make it as challenging or enjoyable as they liked.

πΉ 2 miles - 30secs jogging & 20secs walking
πΈ 2 miles - 40secs jogging & 20secs walking
Taking full advantage of the Trans Pennine Trail for the 4 miles distance we covered!!
Brilliant to see so many people enjoying the outdoors on the trail too!! π€©

Another beautiful Sunday morning we had for our training session!!!
Our aim was to include a hill for our running whilst completing exercise drills along the way⦠we bossed it!!

Making use of the Trans Pennine Trail again this week, just a slightly different start and finish.
We made use of the bridge at Stairfoot πͺπ», the benches at Oakwell πͺπ» and the hills on the muck stack near Barnsley Main Pit for a few-ish sprints ππ»ββοΈββ‘οΈππ»ββοΈββ‘οΈπ₯΅
3 miles covered with different heart rate zones throughout π«β

The weather was on our side this morning, damp under foot but dry enough so we could get some training done!!!

This mornings Sunday Sesh was a bit on the wet side βοΈ but that didnβt stop us!!!
Our continuous approach was :
π₯ 30 seconds running & 30 seconds exercise π₯
To even out the effort levels some wore extra weight, such as weighted vests or ankle weights πͺπ»πͺπ»
