Join me for a relaxed and creative day learning the beautiful craft of willow weaving. You will make your own willow obelisk - perfect for supporting climbing plants and adding a natural focal point to your garden.

Stunning wet felting artwork created today by Year 6 children at Heyhouses Primary in Lytham St Annes. Inspired by Vincent Van Gogh, the children layered wool and used soap and water to bind the fibres. 🎨

And as the sun was shining, I finished the day with a run on the seafront. 🌞🏃‍♀️

Willow Weaving

Creating a bit of art on the beach at Mousehole Harbour yesterday.

Not long now until Barnsley Folk Festival on Saturday 30th May. It's going to be a great day, with lots of amazing bands playing.

I'll be there all day and I have lots of different things to weave. So just drop in, say hi and join me and have a go at willow weaving.

Barnsley Civic

Today I am working with reception at Little Sutton Primary School and we are creating something a bit different. Inspired by the upcoming World Cup, we created our own felt football pitch. The children loved laying the wool and adding soap and water to combine the fibres.

This afternoon we will be doing the same with the other class of reception children.
