Thank you to everyone who joined us at Worsbrough Mill Museum & Country Park and learnt to weave with willow.
So many people dropped by and had a go, from toddlers leaving with flower crowns to grandparents learning a new craft with their grandchildren.
This was all made possible by The Great Childhood Ambition Project.

Today we are back at Worsbrough Mill Museum & Country Park weaving willow crowns, hearts and fish on fishing rods.
Sessions run from 10am - 12pm and 1pm - 3pm
It's a drop in session for families, so no need to book, just turn up and try a new craft.
This is all funded and made possible by the Great Childhood Ambition Project, helping this summer be an action packed summer of activities for children.

πΏπ Willow Weaving in Pen*stone ππΏ
What a lovely afternoon of willow weaving with a wonderful local craft group in Pen*stone! πΏβ¨
Today I worked with six fabulous ladies who took on the challenge of creating their very own giant willow flowers for the garden. πΈπΏ
This isnβt the easiest willow weave, but itβs a fantastic beginner project for anyone who already enjoys crafts such as sewing, knitting or other types of making β and they absolutely smashed it! ππ
Thank you to the group for being such great company and for giving the willow weaving a go. You should all be very proud of what you created! ππΏ

With the warm weather and long summer nights we had the opportunity to do something a bit special...willow weaving in the beautiful garden at the Craft Inn in Ackworth.
Our craft workshops normally take place in the shop, but to make large willow obelisks we needed the extra space.
Both groups were exceptional and made some amazing obelisks which will be used in their gardens and allotments.
Unfortunately there are no more dates available this year for our obelisk workshop, but we will definitely add some more sessions next summer.
However, I will be adding some new willow weaving workshops in September and October, where we will be making hearts, stars and birdfeeders. 𧑠βοΈ π¦
Please follow the Art Room and the CRAFT INN as we posting the dates for the next set of workshops very soon.
